6.10.1 LP Gas Lock Off Valve Filter
The LP gas lock-off valve is mounted on the LP gas regulator on top of the engine.
Changing the LP Gas Lock Off Valve Filter:
1. Park the truck on level ground in a well ventilated area and ensure no external
ignition sources are present.
2. Lower the mast fully and tilt the mast forward fully.
3. Close the valve on the LPG bottle fully
by turning it clockwise.
4. Run the engine until it cuts out (to burn
off any remaining fuel in the lines).
5. Turn the ignition key switch to the ‘0’ (off)
position and remove the key.
6. Isolate the battery by turning the battery
isolator key switch anticlockwise.
7. Open the bonnet (A) from the rear of the
truck to gain access to the lock off valve
filter.
8. Locate the lock off valve (B), then
remove the fitting union (C) and open
the filter chamber (D).
9. Replace the lock-off valve filter (E),
magnet, seal and O-rings.
10. Reassemble the lock-off valve.
11. Tighten the fitting union (C) to between
11.2-12.8Nm (8.26-9.44ft. lbs).
12. Close the bonnet.
6.10.2 LP Gas In-line Cannister Filter
The LP gas inline filter is mounted next to the lock off valve filter on the LP gas regulator
on top of the engine.
Changing the LP Gas In-line Cannister Filter:
1. Park the truck on level ground in a well
ventilated area and ensure no external
ignition sources are present.
2. Lower the mast fully and tilt the mast
forward fully.
3. Close the valve on the LPG bottle fully
by turning it clockwise.
4. Run the engine until it cuts out (to burn
off any remaining fuel in the lines).
5. Turn the ignition key switch to the ‘0’ (off)
position and remove the key.
6. Isolate the battery by turning the battery
isolator key switch anticlockwise.
