29. Automatic DPF Regeneration Disabled Icon *
The icon is displayed when the operator has engaged the request
to disable automatic DPF regeneration (see 5.4.1 ‘Automatic DPF
Regeneration’ on page 68).
This icon remains on the screen until the operator enables
automatic DPF regeneration.
Disabling auto mode is not recommended for any situation unless
it is safety-related or if the fuel tank lacks the required fuel to
complete the cleaning process.

30. Warning Icon
The warning icon is displayed when a condition exists that requires
operator action.
The amber engine fault warning icon (8) will also be displayed.
Arrange to have the engine serviced at the earliest possible
convenience.
If a fault has been detected, engine torque may be reduced by the
ECU when the warning icon is displayed.
31. Stop Icon
The stop icon is displayed when a condition exists that requires
immediate operator action and service.
The red engine fault warning icon (7) will also be displayed.
Switch off the engine and place an out-of-order sign on the steering wheel. Do
not used the truck until the engine has been serviced.
If the truck is in a danger zone or if it is causing an obstruction or hazard it may
be driven a short distance to a safe area.
Engine power may be reduced or the engine may shut down automatically when
the stop icon is displayed.
Engine fault codes can be viewed on the ‘Engine Information’ screen. See section
4.5 ‘MDC Engine Fault Codes’ on page 56 for instructions on how to view engine
fault codes.
4.3 MDC Pop Up Icons
There are a number of icons - accompanied by a text message - that may pop up on
the screen. If any of these icons are displayed, the relevant corrective action must be
taken. After taking the relevant corrective action press Button (D) - below ‘ACK’ on the
screen - on the display console to acknowledge the message and return to the home
screen.
If button (D) is pressed without taking the relevant corrective action, the display will
return to the home screen however the message will reappear after 10 seconds.
