7 Maintenance

All maintenance work must be carried out only by wellqualiedandtrainedpersonnelauthorised
by the owner.Itistheowner’sresponsibilitytoverifyproperqualicationofthepersonnel.
General note
Theinstructionsanddetailsformaintenanceworkmustbefollowedandupheld.
Only the maintenance work described in this documentation may be carried out.
OnlyuseoriginalCondairsparepartstoreplacefaultyparts.
Safety
Somemaintenanceworkrequiresremovaloftheunitcover.Pleasenotethefollowing:
DANGER! Danger of electric hazard!
You may get in touch with live parts when the unit is open. Touching live parts may cause severe
injury or even lethal violation.
Prevention:BeforecarryingoutanymaintenanceworksettheCondairEL2outofoperationas
described in chapter 6.5(switchofftheunit,disconnectitfromthemainsandstopthewatersup-
ply)andsecuretheunitagainstinadvertentpower-up.
CAUTION!
Theelectroniccomponentsinsidethehumidierareverysensitivetoelectrostaticdischarge.
Prevention:Beforecarryingoutanymaintenanceworktotheelectricalorelectronicequipmentof
thehumidier,appropriatemeasuresmustbetakentoprotecttherespectivecomponentsagainst
damagecausedbyelectrostaticdischarge(ESDprotection).
