5.5 Demo Application - "C# Native Single Reader on
Windows OS with User Interface"
5.5.1 Hardware Setup
The only external hardware connections required by the CS468 are power and a connection to a
network (Ethernet).
1. Connect the CS468 to the network with Ethernet cable.
2. Power up the CS468.
3. If success, the “RFID” LED of the available device will be turned on.
5.5.2 Software Setup
After the hardware setup, open the Demo Application "C# Native Single Reader on Windows OS
with User Interface". The utility provides the following functions:
- Search for available CS468 in the network.
- Change the CS468 IP address and device name.
- Change the TCP timeout value.
- Update the CS468 Firmware (Bootloader + Application for RFID Processor and Network
Processor).
- RFID operations (Inventory, Read / Write, Search, Lock, Kill, GPIO Control etc.)
Note that you have to open the port numbers 1515 and 1516 (or turn off firewall) for reader
auto-discovery function to work properly.
