Features
QoS Engine
This device features an advanced, yet easy-to-use Intelligent Quality of Service (iQoS) Engine.
QoS allows you to prioritize Internet trac to ensure a better web browsing experience
in situations where bandwidth is limited or large numbers of devices are in use. The QoS
Engine allows you to prioritize Internet trac by selecting to either Manage by Application
or Manage by Device. The drag and drop interface allows you to arrange which trac is
given higher priority.
When using Manage by Application, you can prioritize trac across all of your devices. For
example, you can give streaming media a higher priority than le downloads.
When using Manage by Devices, you can create a device hierarchy to give a higher priority
to specic devices. For example, you can give a desktop computer a more responsive Internet
experience than a tablet or mobile device.
