4.4 REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION, GLOW PLUG
Removing the glow plug
1. Disconnect the earth lead from the battery
terminal.
2. Remove the air inlet hose.
3. Remove the glow plug
4. Inspect the glow plug for damage. See
"Inspection and adjustment".
Installing the glow plug
1. Install the glow plug.
Clean the contact surface between inlet
manifold and glow plug to ensure that the
glow plug is properly earthed on the inlet
manifold.
2. Fit the air inlet hose.
3. Fit the earth cable.
