Prerequisite: Open all the hot water tapping points to allow air to enter the
system.
Prerequisite: Remove the top panel. See "6.2.2To open the indoor unit"[455].
1 Remove the tube from the temperature and pressure relief valve that is
located on top of the tank.
2 Remove the temperature and pressure relief valve from the tank.
3 Use a drain hose and a pump to drain the tank via the access point.

4 Tightening torques for installation:

13.4 To inspect the inside of the domestic hot water tank
DANGER: RISK OF BURNING
The water in the tank can be very hot.
Prerequisite: Stop the unit operation via the user interface.
Prerequisite: Turn OFF the respective circuit breaker.
Prerequisite: Close the cold water supply.
Prerequisite: Open all the hot water tapping points to allow air to enter the
system.
Prerequisite: Remove the top panel. See "6.2.2To open the indoor unit"[455].
1 Remove the clip that fixes the domestic hot water OUT pipe.
2 Disconnect the pipe such that the tank is accessible for visual inspection (e.g.
with an endoscope).
