UL COMPLIANCE
To comply with NEC 2017, it is mandatory to use fuses or circuit breakers. Danfoss recommends using a selection of the fuses
listed in the following tables. These fuses are suitable for use on a circuit capable of delivering 100000 A
rms
(symmetrical), 240 V,
480 V, 500 V, or 600 V depending on the drive voltage rating. With the proper fusing, the drive short circuit current rating (SCCR)
is 10000 A
rms
.
For semiconcutor fuse types, the drive controller and the overcurrent protection device must be integrated within the same overall
assembly.
