3. If installed, remove the air shroud.
Steps
1. Align and place the fan module connector horizontally with the connector on the system board.
NOTE: The procedure to remove standard (STD), high performance silver grade (HPR SLVR), or high performance gold
grade (HPR Gold) dual cooling fan modules are same.
2. Press the touch point on the cooling fan module until firmly connected.

Drives
Removing a drive blank
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
2. If installed, remove the front bezel.
CAUTION: To maintain proper system cooling, drive blanks must be installed in all empty drive slots.
Steps
Press the release button, and slide the drive blank out of the drive slot.
