This group displays information for and congures delivery of SNMP traps for a specic user.
Use this object with the cong or getcong subcommands.
To use this object property, you must have the Chassis Conguration Administrator privilege.
NOTE: You can congure a setting that does not have the hash sign (#) prexed in the output. To modify a congurable
object, use the
—o option.

Description
Indicates the unique index of an alert instance.
Legal Values
1–4

cfgTrapsEnable (Read or Write)
Description
Enables or disables event traps on the CMC.
Legal Values
1 (TRUE)
0 (FALSE)

cfgTrapsAlertDestIPAddr (Read or Write)
Description
Sets the IP address that receives the alert.
Legal Values
A string representing a valid IP address. For example, 192.168.0.20.
Default
None
cfgTrapsCommunityName (Read or Write)
Description
Sets the community string (identical to the community name) used for authentication. The community string
acts as a password shared between dierent hosts over the network. This community string value must match
with the other hosts for any kind of communication through SNMP.
Legal Values
A string representing the community name.
Default
None
