display of your handset if it is not resting in the charging

Please make note of the correct polarity when changing the
batteries. Also note that only battery types approved by the
manufacturer (page 39: "Technical Data") may be used.
Never use normal (primary cell) batteries! The manufactu-
rer accepts no liability for malfunctions or damage if non-
specific battery types or normal batteries are used.
Charging time: (empty batteries) 10 - 14 hours to reach full
capacity
Call time: up to 10 hours
Standby: up to 100 hours
The charging status is indicated on the display by the FGHI
symbol, where:
FGHI Battery capacity 75…100%
FGH Battery capacity 50…75%
FG Battery capacity 25…50%
F Battery capacity les than 25%
F (flashing) indicates battery virtually dead;

FGHI Frame flashes (handset is in base station / charging
unit) Charging status is being determined
If the handset is in the base station/charging unit, the fla-

cess. An audible signal indicates that the handset is inser-
ted correctly into the base station/charging unit.
An audible alarm in the form of 3 short "beeps" indicates
that the battery capacity is virtually expended: you then
have approx. 3 minutes of call time left.
