The telephone is ready for use and the answering machine
is switched off.
- Enter the following key sequence:o#9
- Enter the code as follows
Record memo - 0
Announcement text 1 (with recording option) - 1
Announcement text 2 (without recording option) - 2
- After the prompt signal, speak the announcement text into
the handset microphone. Record your text in a quiet room
and speak as if you were talking normally on the telepho-
ne. An announcement text must be between 10 and 60
seconds long; in the case of Memos, the preset maximum
recording time for messages applies (10 … 960 s, see
page 33). The LED on the base station flashes slowly
while you are recording your texts. 10 seconds before the
maximum recording duration is reached (60 s), the LED
starts to flash quickly.
- To stop recording, press o.
- An acknowledgement tone confirms your announcement
text has been recorded correctly. The text is then played
back for you to check (announcement texts only, not
Memos).
- Terminate the connection by pressing g.
Each time you switch your answering machine on, the
announcement text currently programmed is played back
for you to check it. You can delete the announcement text
either by recording a new text or by deleting all announce-
ment texts (see page 33).
The telephone is ready for use.
