You can set the recording capacity of your answering
machine to either 8 or 16 minutes. The higher capacity is
achieved through data compression, which results in a
slight impairment of the speech quality. This setting can be
changed at any time, and has no effect on existing messa-
ges.

- The current status is displayed.
1 = 16 minutes (Hi)
2 = 8 minutes (Lo)
- Enter the desired number.
- Terminate the connection by pressing g.
If the "Monitoring" function is activated, you can follow mes-
sages being recorded via the base station speaker. In this
context, you also have the option of intercepting the call via
a handset (g-key) and speaking directly with the caller.

0 = Monitoring off
1 = Monitoring on
- Enter the desired number.
- Terminate the connection by pressing g.
The base station volume can be adjusted in 6 increments
and applies both to the playback of recorded messages and
the monitoring of incoming messages.

1 … 6 = Volume (1 = quiet / 6 = loud)
