What to do if automated pressure control pressure generation stopped and the controller is beeping in DH Instruments ADCS-601 Test Equipment?
    • L
      louis63Aug 22, 2025
If the pressure controller beeps and stops pressure generation during automated pressure control, it might be because the pressure has reached the controller's upper limit. Check the [GEN] UPPER LIMIT and adjust it if necessary.

Why PG7601 automated pressure control is not starting in DH Instruments Test Equipment?
    • R
      Robert HenrySep 4, 2025
If the PG7601 automated pressure control (GEN) is not starting after setting a target and loading mass, and the measurement mode is absolute by vacuum in your DH Instruments Test Equipment, it is because in absolute by vacuum measurement mode, before automated pressure generation begins, the reference vacuum must be below 20 Pa. Wait for the vacuum to reach less than 20 Pa, and check and correct the vacuum supply if it is inadequate.

What does it mean if ADCS component displays in DH Instruments ADCS-601 Test Equipment?
    • A
      Andrew HarrisonSep 2, 2025
If an ADCS component displays or on your DH Instruments Test Equipment, the component has encountered an unresolved internal software conflict. Cycle the component power to clear the error. Record the conditions leading up to the event, including the numbers displayed when enter is pressed, and report the information to a DHI Authorized Service Provider.

Why does PG7601 piston rotation rate slows down too quickly in DH Instruments ADCS-601?
    • R
      Randy FoleySep 1, 2025
If the PG7601 piston rotation rate slows down too quickly, and the motorized rotation engages too frequently in your DH Instruments Test Equipment, several factors could be responsible: * The piston-cylinder might be dirty. * The PG7601 Platform might not be level. * The PG7601 might be subjected to excessive vibration. * The piston position indication might need adjustment. To address this, you can clean the piston-cylinder, level the PG7601 Platform, remove sources of vibration, and calibrate the piston position indication.

How to fix communication issues with an ADCS component in DH Instruments ADCS-601 Test Equipment?
    • C
      Carla GreenAug 30, 2025
If you cannot establish communication with an ADCS component of your DH Instruments Test Equipment, the computer and/or component interface may not be correctly configured, or the interface cable may be incorrect or damaged. Check and correct interface configurations and cables if necessary. Also, check the interface configuration in ADCS Tools, [Setup], [Configuration]. You can run a product COM port test to diagnose the issue.

What to do if PG Terminal constantly displays on DH Instruments ADCS-601?
    • M
      Michelle McintyreAug 29, 2025
If the PG Terminal constantly displays on your DH Instruments Test Equipment, the PG Terminal is unable to establish communications with the PG7601 Platform. Check that the PG Terminal to Platform cable is installed correctly. If still unable to get beyond , contact a DHI Authorized Service Provider.

How to fix vacuum pumps that will not run on DH Instruments ADCS-601 Test Equipment?
    • G
      George MontgomeryAug 28, 2025
If the system’s vacuum pump(s) of your DH Instruments Test Equipment will not run, the fuse on the AC2 or AC3 power supply connection may have blown. Replace the fuse on the AC2 or AC3 IEC power connector on the rear of the Control Cabinet. The fuse should be a 250 VT 10 A.

What does it mean when PG7601 displays or in DH Instruments ADCS-601 Test Equipment?
    • T
      Todd BrownAug 27, 2025
If the PG7601 displays or in DH Instruments Test Equipment, this indicates a communications problem with an external device or pressure generation/control component. Check the setup and communications with the external vacuum gauge or pressure generation/control component.

Why is automated pressure generation extremely slow in DH Instruments ADCS-601 Test Equipment?
    • J
      john53Aug 26, 2025
If automated pressure generation in your DH Instruments Test Equipment is extremely slow or the pistons never float, the test volume might be too large. Try reducing the test volume.

What to do if ADCS component displays or in DH Instruments ADCS-601?
    • D
      Dawn HahnAug 23, 2025
If the ADCS component of your DH Instruments Test Equipment displays or where a numerical value should be, it means the number to be displayed is too large for the allocated space. This is usually due to an erroneous setting or measurement causing an out of limit high value to be calculated. Check the settings that may be causing an out of limit high measurement and adjust if necessary.
