IBM provides a monitoring service to check the AS/400 hard drive(s) on regular intervals for
potential failure. This requires the following:
• Dedicated phone line to AS/400
• Regular review of messages for IBM notification
• Schedule IBM representative to assess hard drive and take necessary action
