DMS Approved AS/400 Emulation Products
There are several terminal emulation products on the market that allow you to use your PC as
an AS/400 terminal. The PC commands are translated into commands that the AS/400
recognizes and responds to. You have to install hardware and software to make this work.
The DMS Systems Corp. approved AS/400 emulation products are:
• IBM Client Access
• MochaSoft
• BOSaNOVA Plus manufactured by Better On Line Solutions, Ltd.
One of these products is installed on each PC where access to the AS/400 is needed.
Instructions are provided in each package. It is not the intent of this section to discuss in
depth the installation process.
Below is a screen print of a PC that is connected to an AS/400 and emulating an AS/400
terminal.
