Tape Drive
Tape drives must be cleaned on regular intervals to ensure backups and the nightly job
schedule complete successfully. A drive that needs to be cleaned will stop the job schedule
from completion and limit business as usual the next day until the drive is cleaned and jobs
finished.
Steps:
If cleaning tape drive as part of regular maintenance:
1. Insert tape labeled "Clean Cartridge" into tape drive to clean the drive.
