*** IMPORTANT The expiration date of all ChemLogic tapes is printed on the label on
each cassette. However once the package is opened the maxium days the cassette can be used
without proper storage is indicated in the table. The effective expiration date is the sooner of
the expiration date on the label or the appropriate number of days from the date opened.
Example: A cassette part # 1-600-070 has the expiration date of 11/31/2012 printed on the
label. It is opened on 05/01/2012 and kept in the CLPX. The actual expiration date would be
6/29/2012 (60 days after opening).
If the cassette is returned to storage in the original packaging (including black bag) after each
use the cassette can be used up to the original expiration date printed on the label.
When the ChemLogic Cassette package is first opened the date
should be recorded on the cassette for reference.
