ChemLogic paper tapes are accessed by opening the door as described in section 2.1.1.
2.1.4 Gas Inlet/Exhaust
Sample is pulled through the inlet on the front of the unit, through the paper tape and further scrubbed via a
charcoal filter inside the unit.
2.1.5 Power
Power the unit on by pressing the enter button. See chapter 5 for complete operation.
2.2 Micro Secure Digital (SD) card
The CLPX uses a MicroSD card to store historical information including concentration logging, event
history, STEL and configuration information. SD cards may be purchased through DOD Technologies – see
Appendix A.
Care should be taken when inserting and removing the MicroSD card. Do not insert or remove the MicroSD
card while the machine is in operation. Power down the machine first then insert or remove the MicroSD
card to assure no data is lost or the card is corrupted.
Standard MicroSD cards may be used with either FAT16 or FAT32 format. See Appendix F for information
on the data stored to the MicroSD card.
