36 Instructions for use Polaris 600
1 Calculate whether the spring arm or the swivel
arm has the lowest maximum load.
The "Observe the maximum load of the
system" symbol on the spring arm or the swivel
arm indicates the corresponding value, see
page .
2 Perform the following calculation:
Lowest maximum load minus the dead weight
of the display mount = maximum total weight of
the display (including display accessories)
Example calculation for a single display mount
– The spring arm has a maximum load of 21 kg.
– The swivel arm has a maximum load of 26 kg.
– This means that the spring arm, at 21 kg, has
the lowest maximum load.
Perform the following calculation:
Lowest maximum load minus the dead weight of
the display mount = maximum total weight of the
display (including display accessories)
21 kg minus 5.5 kg = 15.5 kg
Example calculation for a double display
mount
– The spring arm has a maximum load of 21 kg.
– The swivel arm has a maximum load of 26 kg.
– This means that the spring arm, at 21 kg, has
the lowest maximum load.
Perform the following calculation:
Lowest maximum load minus the dead weight of
the display mount = maximum total weight of the
display (including display accessories)
21 kg minus 11 kg = 10 kg (2 x 5 kg)
