  If your DRS Technologies Security Camera displays 'NO ATTACHED DEVICES FOUND', ensure the camera interface cable is correctly inserted into the 30-pin electrical interface on the camera and the break out box. If using USB, verify the mini-USB to USB cable is properly connected to the break out box and PC. For RS232 setups, confirm the external DC power supply is connected to the camera’s break out box and is turned on. Check that the communication cable (USB) is not damaged. Finally, if using a DC power supply, verify it's on, supplying the correct voltage, and providing enough current.

Make sure the uniform black body is stable before calibrating the custom lens. Verify the custom lens calibration option is enabled by selecting the correct calibration table. Power cycle the camera to apply calibration settings. Adjust the temperature of the black bodies to ensure adequate dynamic range. Ensure no air is blowing on the camera or black body during calibration. Confirm the custom lens and mount are tightly coupled to the TIM. Do not rely on the analog video output to assess video quality.

Why are the Custom Lens Calibration and Custom Pixel Map tabs non-functional on my DRS Technologies Tamarisk 640?

  The Custom Lens Calibration and Custom Pixel Map tabs are only enabled for DRS Technologies Security Cameras that have FPGA firmware version 01.00.0076 or higher.
