Wi-Fi Adapter for SkyView
The Wi-Fi Adapter for SkyView allows supported devices to interface with SkyView. The Wi-Fi
Adapter supports a diverse set off apps, including ForeFlight Mobile, Seattle Avionics FlyQ,
PocketFMS EasyVFR, and more. See the Dynon website for additional details. The Wi-Fi Adapter
plugs into a USB port and must be plugged into the display before power on and remain
plugged in for the full flight. One Wi-Fi Adapter is required for each SkyView display in the
aircraft.
When connected to SkyView, apps can send and/or receive flight plans from SkyView. SkyView
also transmits GPS position and SkyView’s primary flight instruments over Wi-Fi. Additionally,
ADS-B Traffic and Weather are available to apps when a SkyView ADS-B receiver is installed.
Apps may support some or all of these capabilities. See the Dynon and app vendor websites for
information about specific capabilities.
