PC interface module
The MMX-COM-PC interface module enables communication
between the frequency inverter and a PC with a Windows
operating system (point-to-point connection). Together with the
parameter software you can:
• Upload and download all parameters.
• Store the parameters, compare them and print them in
parameter lists.
• Graphically show time sequences in the Monitor display. The
oscillograms can be stored in the PC and printed out.
• Load customer-specific applications and updates (operating
system).
Two function buttons enable the copying (upload and download)
of parameters between frequency inverters of the M-Max
TM
series,
without a PC connection, for example when commissioning series
machines or when replacing devices.
When connected with the MMX-COM-PC interface, the keypad of
the MMX frequency inverter can be fed with an external 24 V
power supply or with a fitted 9 V block battery (not supplied).
Technical data for power supply:
• 9 V block battery, current consumption around 60 mA.
• 24 V plug power supply unit (e.g. Moeller article no. 207874)
with 5.5 mm DC plug.
This separate power supply enables parameter assignment and
data exchange without the mains power supply of the frequency
inverter. The inputs and outputs of the control section and power
section are deactivated here.
The MMX-COM-PC interface module can be fitted and connected
without any tools required. The MMX-COM-PC module is fitted on
the front of the MMX frequency inverter.

The MMX-COM-PC is supplied with a 2.5 m data cable (RJ45 plug/
9-pole Sub-D connector) and an interface converter from a 9-pole
Sub-D plug (RS422/485) to a USB interface.
