JCOMMs are used to retrofit BCMS to Eaton equipment or other vendors’ equipment that is already installed.
If the JCOMM has a Monitor, the Monitor is the electrical load. Otherwise, each BCMS card is an electrical load
( Figure 3 and Figure 10).
The JCOMM Connections Panel (Figure 11) on the left side of the unit provides Modbus connectors to daisy-
chain the JCOMM into the Hub’s Modbus (electrical load) chain.
