4-2 Inspecting fuel cap and fuel strainer
1. Remove fuel cap.
2. Inspect fuel cap for cracks and gasket (A) for
cuts or damage, and replace with new one as re-
quired.
3. Replace connector (B) if damaged.
4. Pull fuel strainer (C) out from fuel tank using a
wire hook (D). Clean fuel strainer (C). Replace with
new one if defective or heavily soiled.
5. Reinstall fuel cap.
