7. Ensure that all power cables are locked in place with the retention bails. Dress the
cables as appropriate.
8. Turn the SPE SPS and DAE 0 SPS switches ON: locations 1, 2, 3, and 4 in Figure 34 on
page 48.
9. Wait 15-20 minutes for the system to power up completely.
Verifying system status
While your system powers up, the software goes through a number of stages causing LED
activity lights to blink. You can verify that your system powered up correctly and
completely after 15 minutes. The hardware information guide for your system provides
details on all LEDs.
Verify storage processor enclosure status
Ensure that the storage processor enclosure is powered up correctly by using the physical
indicators. The hardware information guide for your system provides more information on
all the LEDs.
