7.2.2 Connecting the inputs and outputs
1. Open the housing cover.
– Release the four screws with a Phillips head screwdriver.
– Lift the housing cover slightly and tip it to the left.
Two flexible fasteners secure the housing cover to the housing.
2. Push the cable through the cable entry →  32.
To ensure tight sealing, do not remove the sealing ring from the cable entry.
3. Strip the cable ends over 6 mm (0.24 in).
In the case of stranded cables, also attach wire end ferrules.
4. Connect the cables in accordance with the terminal assignment. When connecting the
cable shield to the ground terminal, observe the grounding concept of the facility. Rigid
conductors or flexible conductors with wire end ferrules can be inserted directly into the
terminal without pressing on the wire release.

5. Fit the cable anchorage, firmly tighten the cable glands and secure the housing cover
again.
