2. 1 Device designation
The "Proline Prowirl 72 FOUNDATION Fieldbus" flowmeter system consists of the following
components:
• Transmitter Proline Prowirl 72 FOUNDATION Fieldbus
• Prowirl F or Prowirl W sensor
In the compact version, the transmitter and sensor form a mechanical unit; in the remote version
they are mounted separate from one another.
