•Field‐replaceablefantrays
•Redundantpowersupplies

TheS8chassiscanbeinstalledasafreestandingunitorinstalledintoastandard48.26‐centimeter
(19‐inch)rack.
Allchassiscomponents(powersupplies,fantray,andmodules)areinstalledfromthefrontofthe
chassisforeaseofmaintenance.AllLEDindicators
areobservablefromthefrontofthechassisto
aidinmonitoringnetworkoperationalstatusandperformingmaintenance.
TheS8chassiscanbeinstalledbyitselforwithaPoEsubsystemtoprovidededicatedPoEpower.
TheS8chassissupportsboththefourbayPoEsubsystemandtheeightbayPoE
subsystem.
