Front Mounting an S8 Chassis
ToinstalltheS8chassisinarackusingtheS8chassisfrontmountingbrackets:
1. Liftthechassisandslideitallthewayintotherackuntilthefrontmountingbracketsare
againstthefrontoftherackposts.
2. Use12screws(6perside)tosecurethechassisto
therack,startingwiththebottomholesand
workingtowardthetopofthechassis.SeeFigure 3‐3.

Warning: To help prevent personal injury, at least two people are required to lift the chassis into
the rack.
