15.4.6 USB Cabling
• It is recommended to use full speed rated USB cable.
•
Full speed cable consists of twisted signal pairs, VBUS, GND and an overall
shield.
• When using an appropriate cable, the operation reliability of the connected
device is assured.
• The maximum length (2 m) of the used cable is determined of transit time delay,
attenuation, communication speed and the power consumption of the connected device.
• In practise, it is not recommended to use longer cable than 1 m.
•
The previous things should be considered when connecting the device
directly to the USB connection.
