MEDIA HOLDING PLATE
Use a soft-bristled brush to clean off the dust and paper dust on both sides of the Media
holding plate.

PRINT HEAD AND SURROUNDINGS, WIPER, CAP
1. Move the Print Head to the cleaning position.
Carry out “Head Maintenance - Head Movement” from “Maintenance” menu.
2. Open the Maintenance cover on both sides.
3. Wipe the outer part of the Print Head with the Cleaning swab.
For the portions shown in red: Use a large cleaning swab.
For the portions shown in blue: Use a small cleaning swab.

The Media holding plate is hot right after turning the power OFF.
Wait until it cools down before cleaning.
Be careful not to touch the nozzle surface when cleaning the Print
Head and its surroundings.
