4.5.16 Ink System Unit
 Part/Unit that should be removed before removing Ink System Unit
Upper Housing/Lower Housing/Main Board Unit/Left Frame/Panel Unit/Front
Frame/Right Frame/CR Motor/CR Scale/Hopper/Main Frame Assy./ASF Unit
 Removal Procedure
1. Detach the Waste Ink Tube together with the Tube Stopper from the Waste Ink
Cover.
2. Detach the Waste Ink Tube from the groove of the Base Frame.

3. Remove the screw that secures the Ink System Unit (x1).
4. Slide the Ink System Unit in the direction of the arrow while releasing its hook
with flathead precision screwdriver, and remove the Ink System Unit.

C A U T I O N
When disassembling/assembling the Ink System Unit, pay attention
to the following instructions.
 Be cautious not to get injured with the sharp metal edges of the
Frame Support.

 Do not touch or damage the Sealing Rubber or the Head
Cleaner.
 Mark the connection location before removing the Ink Tube.
