2. Using your other hand, peel off the grip pad.
If any glue remains on the platen, soak a soft cloth in diluted neutral detergent, wring it out thoroughly,
and wipe off the glue.
Caution: Do not use solvents such as alcohol to remove the glue. You can damage, warp, or discolor
the platen or other parts.
