1AP1:2 Display control
The display, 1AP2, is a graphic dot matrix display. It is matrix connected and it is function
tested at power on. Display contrast and background illumination cannot be adjusted.

The processor controls via transistor Q1 and Q2 the background illumination (ON/OFF). To
increase the lifetime of the display the illumination is turned off after about 3 minutes, if the
MMC unit is not in use.
