26 Motor control & motor drive
The circuit boards for motor control and motor drive are controlled through the CAN bus.
The motor control board handles the CAN bus communication, reads the limit switches and
the motor encoders and then sends control signals to the motor drive board. On the motor
drive board the signals are connected to drive circuits for the motors and the relays.
26AP1 Motor control
The motor control board controls the motor circuits. It handles the communication and
generates control signals to the motor drive board.
Circuit board identity
Using the “Unit information” menu on the control panel you can decipher:
The machine ID, defines which type of product the board is intended for.
The mode id/unit type is used for identification on the CAN bus.
The software version.
The ID numbers of the circuit board are:
Machine ID = 5.
Node ID = 6.
26AP1:1 Power supply
The power supply delivers the following voltages:
Voltage Tolerance Measuring point
+24 V ±1 V CN19:6 Supplied from 26AP2
0 V CN18:2
-15 V ±1 V VR1:3
+15 V ±1 V CN19:3
+5 V ±0.2 V CN19:2
+2.5 V ±0.1 V CN25:1
