To run the motor the following requirements must be fulfilled:
• A PWM signal must be present at terminal CN2:11.
• The motor enable signal at CN2:9 must be low.
• A direction signal must be present at terminal CN2:13.
When terminal CN2:13 is high:
• Transistors Q4 and Q8 are conducting continously.
• Transistors Q11 and Q15 are conducting alternatingly with Q12 and Q16.
• The switch frequency is 19.6 kHz, max. duty cycle is 98%.
When terminal CN2:13 is low:
• Transistors Q12 and Q16 are conducting continously.
• Transistors Q3 and Q7 are conducting alternatingly with Q4 and Q8.
• The switch frequency is 19.6 kHz, max. duty cycle is 98%.
Other information:
• The BusV signal at IC5:4 turns off the motor in case of overvoltage at the +60 V bus.
Voltages above 85 V are defined as overvoltage.
• Terminal CN2:15 is always high this means that the current limit is low = 1 A.
• High signal level as mentioned above is about +5 V.
• Low signal level as mentioned above is about 0 V.
• All control signals comes from the processor on the motor control board, 26AP1.
• The signal at terminal CN2:2, motor current, is used only for troubleshooting
purposes in this application. The relationship between the signal and the motors
voltage is: Umeas = 2.5 + (0,04 * Umotor) eg: 30 V = 3.7 V, 0 V = 2.5 V, -30 V = 1.3 V
measured between CN2:2 and CN2:7-8
• The signal at terminal CN245, motor current, is used only for troubleshooting
purposes in this application. The relationship between the signal and the motors
voltage is: Umeas = 2.5 + (0,241 * Imotor) eg: 1.3 V = -5 A, 2.5 V = 0A, 3. 7V = 5 A
measured between CN2:4 and CN2:7-8
