Troubleshooting
Temperature stops rising or
begins to drop during heat-
up.
Frost has formed on the dehumidi-
fier-cooler.
There is nothing wrong with the
equipment. Proceed as planned. Or,
defrost the chamber. See “Defrost-
ing” on page 56.
Poor temperature unifor-
mity.
Air flow inside the chamber is poor. Improve air flow by rearranging
specimens. Be sure not to block the
air supply or return. See “Test Area”
on page 18.
Specimens are generating heat. Reduce the amount of heat gener-
ated by specimens.
The chamber lamp does not
light up.
The bulb is burned out. See “Changing the Chamber Lamp
Bulb” on page 55.
