PhaseAdept Dimmer 69
Features
Input Voltage
Supported Load Types
•LED
• Tungsten
• 2-wire fluorescent
• Electronic low voltage transformer
Short Circuit Protection
In the event of a short circuit, the PhaseAdept Dimmer module shuts down to prevent damage. The
module allows inrush current shown below for one cycle and will shut down if current at the inrush
current threshold persists for more than one cycle or if current exceeds the inrush current threshold.
Inrush Protection
Voltage Spike Protection
The module shuts down in the presence of voltage spikes caused by a magnetic load. To recover from
this shutdown state, turn the circuit breaker off and back on again, change the phase switch to
forward (see
Forward/Reverse Phase Switches
on
page 74
), or set the control level to zero and then set
the control level to another value.
Curve
The PhaseAdept Dimmer outputs a linear curve that is scaled according to the minimum scale dial
setting. See
Min Scale Dials
on
page 74
.
