3.3.2 POSITIONING IN RELATION TO THE
FLOW
With installations on horizontal pipes, the converter
(or the junction box in the separate version) must
be placed upright to ensure the proper functioning
of the empty pipe detection.
In case of obstruction, follow the guidelines as
explained in the figures below.
Avoid following positions:
Recommended installation is on a vertical/inclined
pipe with upward flow direction, to minimize the
wear and deposits in the sensor. Avoid installation
in vertical pipes with free outlet.
