11 Troubleshooting
Solving Common Problems
Problem Cause Solution
Unit does not turn on. Battery is discharged. Charge the battery.
Connect the unit to an external
power supply using the AC
adapter/charger (or the car outlet
adapter).
If the unit still does not turn on, press
and hold down the power button for
at least 12 seconds to force a
hardware reset on the unit. Release
the power button, and then restart
your unit as usual.
Unit is not connected
to an external power
supply.
Connect the unit to an external power
supply using the AC adapter/charger
(or the car outlet adapter).

External power supply
