2.1. Condiţiile de funcţionare şi locul de montare

2. INSTALLATION
2.1 OPERATING CONDITIONS AND INSTALLATION POSITION
Connecting the electric heating device to the utility grid needs to be approved by the local power supply company.
Any relevant personnel must obtain the temporary approval for access to high electrical power and apply for expenses of
the direct heating room.
If new central heating is built or old central heating is rebuilt, we suggest the meticulous design by professionals. Profes-
sional installation by an authorized service company is a condition of the manufacturer’s warranty! Therefore, seek help
from our contract partner for boiler connection that shall connect the boiler and provide the electric heating operation
prompt.
Any connection to the utility power and any electrical installation must be performed only by qualified professional workers
pursuant to guideline UBP SR No. 74/1996 Coll.
TOR electric boiler is predetermined to be permanently connected to public power distribution network. There shall be
a built-in instrument in the electric boiler for disconnecting a main switch fixed wiring. All pole break contacts shall be at
least 3mm apart with guidelines for starting observed.
The location for installation of TOR electric boiler shall allow any necessary approach when maintenance or repair. The
minimum distance between boiler and fixed barrier is shown in “fig. 6”.
At the time of assembly, it’s necessary to require the professional workers from the installation company to carry out sy-
stematic demonstration and teach the system operating. The electric boiler warranty certificate must be confirmed to be
effective after commissioning by professional workers.
No electrical qualication is required for design and operation
of electrical equipment of the boiler. The operator can only
operate the control device and observe the manual or instruc-
tions from the service company. Don’t tamper with electrical
installations when maintenance.
From the perspective of electric boiler installation, the pressure
water shall be disposed in the area where it is for adding water
and drainage. In addition, the disposal place must be with a
sufciently smooth wall area (the electric boiler is hung on the
wall)

The electric boiler designed is used in the ordinary AA5/AB5 environment according to STN 33 0300 and STN 33 2310
(that is to say that the temperature range is from +5 °C to 40 °C, and the humidity depends on the temperature, not
exceeding 85%). The boiler shall not be installed in Area 0, 1 and 2 in line with STN33 2135-1 standard or any room with
bathtub, shower room, wash zone and showers However, it can be installed in Area 3. In case of possible water flow for
cleaning (public watering place, pipe and shower nozzle used in the school, factory, sports club and public service area),
the electric boiler cannot be installed.
If the boiler has been installed in an acceptable place, the protection from current accident must be provided as per the
same standard at the same time.

2.2 BOILER INSTALLATION
To hang the boiler on the wall, it’s suggested to use the expan-
sion screw (accessory when delivery) which shall be xed on
the wall in advance (refer to Figure 6). The heater structure
body with water pump and accessories shall be hung onto the
expansion screw which has been xed. The boiler outer cover
shall be connected to the back wall by the screw which can be
disassembled. Before the boiler is installed, the place where
the repair work likely required can be conducted without big
restrictions shall be conrmed. If the boiler is installed in an
open system, the heating system water column shall at least
produce 1 bar pressure.
