5.4 Functional impairment
After switching on the pressure supply and/or after testing the individual valves, the following functional
impairments may occur in the pneumatic system:
Operating status of the pneu
matic system
Error handling after switching off the pressure supply
Air escapes…
– at common-line or
working-line connections
 Check tube mounting.
Valve or pneumatic system…
– does not react as
expected
 Check routing of tubing.
 Check the electrical wiring.
– does not react  Bring the detenting manual override into the basic position
 After switching back on, check the operating pressure in every
pressure zone. Set the operating pressure è Chap. 3.
 Service required
On valve terminals operated with regulated external pilot air:
 After switching back on, check the pilot pressure. Set pilot pres
sure as a function of the operating pressure èChap. 3.
