®
hydraulic unit's valve manifold
includes relief valves to prevent damage to the
blade or vehicle if an obstacle is hit at either end
of the blade. When force against the blade causes
the pressure in an extended ram to exceed
set limits, the relief valve opens allowing uid to
escape, and the ram retracts.
