OPERATING YOUR SNOWPLOW
5. Replace the hydraulic unit cover.
XtremeV™, XV2, and XLS™ units:
Replace the cover and reinstall the top and
bottom cover retainers.
SCRAPE LOCK ADJUSTMENT
Follow the instructions below to increase the
pressure setting of the HT Series™ blade's scrape
lock feature. The snowplow must be attached
to the vehicle and the snowplow battery cable
and lighting harness must be connected before
beginning this procedure.
1. Park the vehicle on a smooth, level, hard
surface, such as concrete. Lower the blade to
the ground and turn the control OFF. Leave
the snowplow attached to the vehicle. Turn the
vehicle ignition to the "OFF" position.
2. Disconnect the snowplow battery cable from
the vehicle battery cable.
3. Remove the hydraulic unit cover.
4. Loosen the breather/ll plug slowly to relieve
any pressure in the reservoir.
