to help increase your awareness for the potential for
collisions.
Collision Avoidance features include:
AIS
Vessels and aids equipped
with AIS transmitters, that are
within range can be displayed
as targets.

MARPA (Mini Automatic
Radar Plotting Aid) improves
collision awareness by
tracking acquired targets
and calculating their speed
and course to enable risk

Target
Interception
The Target interception
feature tracks AIS targets in
relation to your own vessel’s
Course Over Ground (COG)
and Speed Over Ground
(SOG). The purpose of
this feature is to help you
determine if you need to
change your speed and / or
course to avoid danger.

Guard Zone
Alarm
The Guard Zone Alarm will
warn you if Radar returns are
detected within the specied
Guard Zone limits.
