17.8 Units set-up
You can specify your preference for the units of measurement that will be used in all applications.
Menu item Description Options
Distance Units
The units of measure that will be used in all
applications for the display of all values related
to distance.
• Nautical Miles
• NM & m (major units = Nautical Miles,
minor units = meters)
• Statute Miles
• Kilometers
Speed Units The units of measure that will be used in all
applications for the display of all values related
to speed.
• Knots
• MPH (Miles Per Hour)
• KPH (Kilometers Per Hour)
Depth Units
The units of measure that will be used in all
applications for the display of all values related
to depth.
• Feet
• Meters
• Fathoms
Temperature Units
The units of measure that will be used in all
applications for the display of all values related
to temperature.
• Fahrenheit
• Celsius
Pressure Units
The units of measure that will be used in all
applications for the display of all values related
to pressure.
• Bar
• PSI
• Kilopascals
Volume Units
The units of measure that will be used in all
applications for the display of all values related
to volume.
• US Gallons
• Imperial Gallons
• Liters
Economy Units
The units of measure that will be used in all
applications for the display of all values related
to fuel usage.
• Distance per Volume
• Volume per Distance
• Liters per 100 km
Wind Speed Units The units of measure that will be used in all
applications for the display of all values related
to wind speed.
• Knots
• Metres per second
Changing units of measure from the
Data application
From the Data Set-up menu: Menu > Data Set-up.
1. Select Units Set-up.
2. Select the type of measurement you want to
change.
3. Select the new unit of measure.
Resetting minimum and maximum
readings
Minimum and maximum readings sorted on the
display can be reset from the Data application.
From the Data application, with the data you want to
reset displayed onscreen:
1. Select Menu.
2. Select Data Resets.
3. Select the data item you want to reset.
The reading is reset.
Note: Resets will only be available for data items
that are currently displayed onscreen.
Resetting all datapages
You can reset the Data application’s datapages to
factory defaults.
From the Customize menu: Menu > Customize.
1. Select Reset All Pages.
A conrmation pop-up is displayed.
2. Select Yes to reset or No to cancel the action.
Note: The reset will also delete any custom pages
that have been created. Custom settings will not
be affected
