You cannot use the SERIAL 2 TO UUT
port as a pass-through port while using a
pressure module.
3. Connect the gender changer adapter to the
null modem adapter. Tighten the connector
screws.
4. Connect the interface cable between the
interface unit and the gender changer adapter.
5. Connect the interface unit to the line power
adapter.
6. Plug the line power cord into line power.
7. Press the m key on the 5520A. This
activates pressure mode.
8. The Output Display shows the pressure value
measured by the pressure module. The
Control Display contains three softkeys:
DAMPEN (on, off), SET OFFSET (zeros the
pressure module), and UNITS (pressure
units).
9. If you are using any 700 Series Pressure
Module except an absolute-pressure type
(Model Number starts with “700PA”), vent the
pressure module to atmosphere and press the
SET OFFSET softkey to zero the pressure
module.
