11. Setting the Centre of Gravity
The model must be adjusted by skilful placement (2) of the ight battery (1) so that the centre of gravity is approx.
40 mm behind the front side of the wing (the addition of trimming lead should be avoided), see gures 9 and 10.
To do so, mark the corresponding centre of gravity position at the bottom of the wing with a pen (gure 10). From the
bottom, hold the assembled and ready-to-y model at the measured positions with your index ngers (or a corres-
ponding device). If the centre of gravity is set correctly, the model should be leaning slightly forward.
Important!
Measure the centre of gravity only with the model completely ready for ight (inserted ight battery, applied
cabin hood, etc.).
