18 FS-100 Portable DTE Recorder
Powering the FS-100
• The FS-100 operation without a battery installed.
To operate the FS-100 without a battery installed, connect the
unit to an AC power source.
• Before operating the FS-100 with battery power.
It is first necessary to fully charge the battery. An uncharged
battery, typically takes 2-3 hours to charge.
Connecting the FS-100 to AC Power
Attach the AC power cord to the FS-100 (with or without battery
installed). The FS-100 is immediately ready for operation.
To do this, connect the AC power as follows:
Step 1: Plug the cord from the power supply into the bottom of the
FS-100.
Step 2: Connect the line cord to the rectangular power supply.
Step 3: Plug the line cord into an electric outlet.
